Education and experience

Lise Heide-Jørgensen read law at the universities of Copenhagen (Denmark) and Amsterdam. She qualified in International Public Law (1993) and Dutch law (1998) at the University of Amsterdam.
Lise Heide-Jørgensen was a family law researcher between 1995 and 1997 at the Private Law Department of the University of Amsterdam under Professor Jan de Boer, where she published various studies.
In 1997, she was appointed clerk (stafjurist) to the Family Chamber of the Court of Appeal in The Hague. In 1999 she joined the cabinet of the Board of Advocates General of the Dutch Prosecution Service, becoming personal assistant to its chairman, Mr J.L. de Wijkerslooth.
Practice and occupations
In 2003, Lise Heide-Jørgensen started her legal practice with Wladimiroff & Waling in The Hague, where she handled family law matters and soon extended her field to include criminal matters.
Since 2005, Lise Heide-Jørgensen has been contributing to the Dutch Magazine for Human Rights (NJCM Bulletin/Nederlands Tijdschrift voor de Mensenrechten), published by the Dutch section of the International Commission of Jurists (ICJ). She has also published various articles in other publications.
Founded a legal practice under the name Schutte Heide-Jørgensen in 2006. This law practice is focused on international legal matters and disputes, with special emphasis on Danish business clients.
